LKS2 Football

Young Carers

Young Carers club runs every Wednesday with Miss Mitchell and Mrs Millar, who are the schools Young Carer champions. It is for a specific group of children across school who have been identified as caring for a parent, sibling or family member who may have a long term physical or mental illness, SEN/Disability or misuse substances. In Young Carers we try to provide opportunities to allow the young person to take part in exciting activities that they may not otherwise manage to experience, as well as allowing them a chance to socialise and be supported with their worries and emotional wellbeing. We are happy to speak with any parents in school who believe their child may be a Young Carer, to see what support we can provide.
